Description
When it comes to heterodoxy versus orthodoxy, there are many ways to resist.
What is “orthodoxy?” Well, it’s what everyone else is doing. It’s Apple, Google, Facebook, Instagram. It’s Starbucks coffee and not tucking in your shirt. It’s living in your mother’s basement until you’re thirty, while she does your laundry and brings you meatloaf… NOW!
What is “heterodoxy?” It’s having principles, and living by them. It’s searching with DuckDuckGo instead of Google, buying books at AbeBooks instead of Amazon, and registering your domain at Epik instead of GoDaddy. It is refusing to give your hard-earned money to a business that explicitly contravenes your values.
And it’s making eye contact with people, instead of staring at your smartphone and wearing a covid mask three years after the pandemic because of your cowardly social anxiety.
Just look up, already! There is life outside your cell phone… but you have to raise your half-rotted head.
Be a heretic. Wear a HATESHIRT.
